Boo

Well, for the first time all year, I missed my Monday deadline. I know I announced I would last week, but still... boo.

Number fitty-two is very much in progress, but also very much not close to being done. I'm still aiming for getting it posted in 2009. I will be doing my level best to make that happen.

Tonight, as I worked on it, it finally struck me that this is almost over. It hit me like a two-ton... heavy thing.

Oh well, cheer up!

You had a good Christmas, and a good yer (in artistic sense anyhow). As we IT-people know: doing what you've agreed upon is usually better than doing more.

So I for one am GLAD you haven't finished on monday.

...and you can't very well be angry at someone who makes a Queensryche reference in their post. ;-)

Just getting started on the "5240" project: Beller informed me when we hung out during the Dethklok tour. What I've heard so far is depressing... that I've been demoing my own material now and it sounds like dogs*it on a gramophone compared to what you write/record/mix in a week's time. ;-)

...but I've got something very cool to show you from Giftmas past. Prepare for e-mail in the next day or so.

Best,
~Ian

You know what Mike Patton says: "Demos?! There's no such THING as demos anymore!!!" ;-)

Hi,

"...and you can't very well be angry at someone who makes a Queensryche reference in their post."

I'm about as big a QR fan (from Empire back anyway) as there is, but I can't, for the life of me, find the QR reference in anyone's post/comment. HELP!

Oh, and, welcome to 5240 and the awesomeness that it is. I wish I could be hearing some of these songs for the first time again. I have a 6 CD changer in the ol' Mazda; the first 4 are 5240 volumes. Number 5 might be VH, 1984, #6 is The Mother Truckers I believe.

Anyway, have fun with it Ian... s'ard not to.
