Derek Sivers, the guy who created CD Baby, makes me wonder if I shoulda kept quiet about my "5240" intentions in a post here.
But then, I wonder what I should have said instead? Should I have just started releasing songs every Monday without warning?
I do know that my efforts in publicizing this thing have run into some obstructions, i.e., "Wait, you're doing WHAT?" and "So... it's not an album?"

I dunno...you don't seem to fit the category of people "less likely" to make the intention a reality. At least not with 5240.
You're near the half way point and I think if it was going to fall apart it would have happened by now.

In my experience this theory applies more to the 'actually getting started phase'. Now your in the flow of getting one out every monday the expectation of your loyal audience is (I assume) a stimulus.
I agree with Kevin: the completion of Winter made me confident you will achieve this (or else...)
And hey! Here we are, almost half way there, and in my mind no need to stop at 52!
That makes $.04 - we should do this at bandcamp. It would make you rich.
