I need to listen again... hold on.

I somehow can't hum Mother Nature's Song to it. Which is a good thing: it's one of the White Album's weaker songs in my humble opinion.
The ending had me laughing out loud. I also liked the slow second solo. Moody.
Great song for a vacation day.

Huh... it has this odd bouncy quatily. I'm sure it's the whole shifting tempo thing. Lot's interesting stuff in this one. I like solo section and how it suddenly melts into the "doo doo doo" part.
OK, this song is weird and disturbing. Congratulations!

First impressions: wow I'm enjoying this! Its amazing how well the contrast between the major and minor bits works. Its the best prog song I've heard in ages (progressive as in not regressive) :P
The bass has a really satisfying crunchy groove, the guitar work is full of virtuosity as usual. That huge synth boom boom thing rocks.
I'm trying not to be too weirded out by the lyrics!
I like this one a lot. Very cool song.
I do wish the keys under the guitar solos at 1:03 and 1:47 were a little louder in the mix. I like how it sounds against the guitar, but without the headphones I can barely pick 'em out. A minor point though, the song rocks.
Almost haflway through!!
After more than one comment about "disturbing" and "weirded out by" the lyrics (which I thought were funny), I looked at them again... and...
oh. Yeah, I guess... there could be some not-so-nice implications in there. Huh.
I'm not backpedaling from the song (it is what it is), but I will say that the things I was thinking about were quite a bit more innocuous than... some of the darker interpretations. Hrm. Oh well.
I'm gonna post a vid with me playing the drum track back along with "Mother Nature's Son", it's pretty funny.
Some of the noises and odd bits that are in there are to cover up some of the places where the time really drags.
Those solo sections were tough to mix. If I turned up the keys, you couldn't hear the guitar, which frankly I was kinda fine with, but I've been getting requests for more guitar stuff lately and so I went for a guitar-heavier mix there.
Hi,
"I will say that the things I was thinking about were quite a bit more innocuous than... some of the darker interpretations."
Don't worry... we know. :)
It's hard to find a song to be dark and/or disturbing when you use words like expealidocial. :)
Needs calliope. Or maybe not.
I like the bouncing sounds dancing on top of the darker sounds and then topped off with your crazy self. Doo Doo's into a weird creepy sound at the end is both hilarious and weird.
AND...frankly when I hear a dark sound under a light sound...yeah...my mind insinuates subtext...comes from reading all the scripts of my life...so yeah...I can easily jump to some crazy ideas about the lyrics.
But a lot my favorite music comes from the same idea of dark vs. light.
Delightful.
Wow, I'm jumping in at song 22! I got some catching up to do! This is GREAT! My love for it is INAPPROPRIATE...

Hi,
Welcome J Dugre. You're lucky. How fun it would be to drop in on #22 and have 1-21 to still discover.
I don't know how far you've gotten so far. But may I suggest something... DON'T listen online first, since you have this option. Instead, download all of the songs (the bandcamp.com links have multiple formats and qualities) and burn them to CD. Take the disc out to your car for your first go'round.
Your efforts will be rewarded. Some sort of headphones solution will make a fine alternative to this idea. Point being, set yourself up for a quality listening experience for the best results.

Hello, Jay Dugre! Welcome, sir! Please feel free to hang around anytime.
(Jay is one of my buddies that I only get to see when I visit California. He is a wonderfully talented actor/writer/performer who is in the comedy troupes TROOP! and The Riot Act with my bro-in-law Kevin. If you saw that BK commercial where the guy was caught eating a Whopper in a hotel room by a... cow... then YOU HAVE SEEN THE MIGHTY Jason Dugre in action!!!)
Some nice paradoxes (yeah, that's right, paradoxes) going on here, with the jolly part and the heavy/dark part. I'm actually relieved when the dark bit kicks in, as the jolly sections are a bit worrying, with the lyrics suggesting something inappropriate along to a happy tune. *shudder*
Very cool - I dig the contrast between the two main themes. "Expy-ali-docial" = awesome. Love the buzz ending, too.
